earlier i could click on the / Boards at th etop and get I believe a drop down of the board list to click on from there to go to the /board/ right?
ok so now it just drops down to a -view all boards 1 line. i think it had this maybe earlier too but under it it had all the boards listed. ... ok im sure the boards dropped from the top link and now it doesnt ok fine but if you click the <link> View all boards, it doesnt load. or i stopped wating after 30 seconds. the browser history of /bestpol/ loaded in a second.

I'm going to finish up some work on this and roll it out soon to see how people like it, since it's as close to 4chanX as I can get it. I was very bothered by not showing multiple attachments so I hacked the fuck out of it to get up to 5 to show on hover, with the first being the one in the catalog.

The most important thing to me is how the image is sort of an anchor that stays in the precise, pixel-perfect position regardless of if you're hovering over it or not. The eye really needs that static element to figure out what's changing on the page as quickly as possible. There's very little ambiguity of what's going on and what elements belong to which thread the way this is laid out now.

I kinda hate it, how it just gets wider and takes up pointless space and the text is moved to the left.. blocking things up and down makes sense but blocking things left and right and in all directions hurts the eyes. How long till I like the new catalog style?
I think maybe if this happened depending on the how much was posted. Like if you had a large number of photos then maybe it would make sense to have the box expand the way it does but I don't think it should do that for every thread.

Huh?

Use blink/webkit based browsers although the problem now is Mobile posting sucks maybe it's the post counter because every fucking keystroke takes 600ms to type in.

You can instead open an issue to OverchanII to support 9chan. No other imageboard apps matters.

Pale moon was never intended and I can clearly remember the web wars between Josh and Moonchild although I think the current version should support it, if not then try Basilisk.

What is your policy on spam and sage bombing in particular? Will you leave it to the board owner's discretion or will you intervene. I ask because there is a particular thread showing up in the overboard that I would like to spam until it hits the bump limit and dies so I won't have to look at it anymore. Right after the BO goes to sleep so he can't stop me. I need confirmation that you won't interfere before I move forward with my plan.

thx u fren even tho you're anglish

>>2732

Commercial spam is unwanted, but if boards want a free for all policy it's up to them - though I do ask they remove themselves from the Overboard. I care about these things in this order:

  1. Keeping the site up.
  2. Keeping the site usable.
  3. Keeping the site tolerable and keeping the site laissez faire, in equal parts.

If someone's spamming new threads on multiple boards I'll deal with it. Thread spam is less tolerable than post spam because thread spam impacts the usability of the site.

Just a head's up, I got my error reporter working so I get emails if an unexpected error happens. Since that is working I'm dealing with the small, weird errors I'm getting emails for. I added two new cutegirls for errors 405 and 418. 405 is used throughout the site, but I'll probably add a meme 418 error page somewhere.

It's not "auto reddit spacing", stop being a retarded fag. It's markdown, which is an email syntax which has existed for about 20 years before Reddit was a thing.

The problem with Markdown is that it strictly interprets blockquotes based on new lines. If anyone wants to try and fix the eightdown-parser package so that it doesn't do this be my guest.

If anyone wants to submit PRs for the user contributed skins please go ahead. I never seem to do skinning right for people.

https://github.com/infinity-next/infinity-next/tree/master/public/static/css/skins

A lot of the front-end colors are exposed via vars.

:root {
    --background-fade: #{$background-fade};
    --background-color: #{$background-color};

    --primary-darker: #{$primary-darker};
    --primary-dark: #{$primary-dark};
    --primary-medium: #{$primary-medium};

    --secondary-darker: #{$secondary-darker};
    --secondary-dark: #{$secondary-dark};
    --secondary-medium: #{$secondary-medium};

    --color-content: #{$color-content};
    --color-link: #{$color-link};
    --color-link-hover: #{$color-link-hover};
    --color-author: #{$color-author};

    --form-background: #{$form-background};
    --form-background-hover: #{$form-background};
    --form-border: #{$form-border};
    --form-button: #{$form-button};
    --form-button-hover: #{$form-button-hover};
    --form-color: #{$form-color};
}

i.e. from the Yotsuba (NSFW) theme:

:root {
    --background-fade: #FED6AF;
    --background-color: #FFFFEE;

    --primary-darker: var(--secondary-darker);
    --primary-dark: var(--secondary-dark);
    --primary-medium: var(--secondary-medium);

    --color-link: #800000;
    --color-link-hover: #800000;
}

>Should I talk to Jurnos who hate me and just try to play nice getting "my side of the story" so that they can get their cool smear piece on me

That sounds like an awesome Idea! What could go wrong?
Have Jurnos ever been dishonest about anything? No!
Have they given anybody an unfair hearing? No, especially not if that person is associated with highly "problematic" and antisemitic beliefs.

Unless you get a veto on the whole thing this is an absolutely retarded Idea.

VIDYA = Violent Incel Death Youth Association
"Dolphin H. Fucker" = DHF = Don't Have Father
WEBM = White European Brutality Militia
KAT = Kill A Tranny (not Kickass Torrents)

"Jersh" is slang for "jews"
point out the "cp" in links like 9chan.tw/cp/reports which discreetly implies mods/jannies will be paid for their work with child porn.

On mobile, very, VERY large images don’t zoom out properly, whilst images a little smaller zoom out properly. Pics for proof

Also, while its not pictured, the board editing and drop down menus go off of the screen, but tilting your phone fixes it.

Also, being in a laggy area, the 30 second timeout for image uploading has made making this post a living hell, because it would already be ~80% done, then would stop uploading and i’m very sad, and because of the delay before the image uploads, and the bar being full, theres an image i can’t post. Love the site though.

That's what you get for using Apple products, by and for nigtards.
But, really, that issue is universal. I posted that og XP wallpape, and it doesn't fully zoom out with my desktop monitor either. You might just be noticing it more since the aspect ratio and/or resolution encompasses a lot less than desktop.

>Love the site though

I really hope it takes off. The soul of the community needs something like this- no-cucked software, non-cucked privacy, but with a not-so-niche community. We've had the former for ages, but, none ever had owners like Josh with enough clout to make a happening place.

Please do. Maybe in a slightly more compact form factor, but please do.
The Alfred series to be strangely compelling in how it's batshit crazy, but in an unnervingly consistent way. Gives the impression that the author wasn't just throwing together symbolism for kiddly-diddly, but might have some personal experience with at least similar flavors of abuse.

At least it isn't showing up on the Overboard. Looks like they've gone from posting new threads to posting on existing threads. Less visibility, but less detectability.
Either that or our dear feeder's new and improved moderation features on INFINITY NEXT™™ are working as advertised.

On a completely unrelated note:

>mention that the current bans have problems with framed images messing with the Hamming distance and you intend to implement rotation detection later
>some thumbnails are cropped with suspicious borders and are spammed as a series of rotated and mirrored duplicates

I think Josh's admirerers have been watching his dev diary videos.

I think he might be connected to the owner of spacechan/b/ because they had a sticky advertising 8channel for a while even though all other imageboard advertising was swiftly banned. He then tried to lie and say he never stickied it. It wouldn't surprise me if those commie trannys and their bunkerchan friends are behind it because they don't want to lose all their piggies to a superior image board. I think they called themselves the imageboard federation or something and openly bragged about corralling and fragmenting imageboard users among themselves. Someone should try infiltrating their discords to learn more.

The average lifetime of these images is between 0 and 30 seconds. I say 0 because many images are being deleted before they are posted. There are multiple people working on monitoring the file moderator dashboard. The problem is the sheer volume. This person is uploading an incredible amount of CSAM.

Where and how he posts it doesn't matter. It feeds through the same system. I'm working on improving the system right now since I have some help.

Based. Is contacting law enforcement an option or will they just decide to fuck you over while doing nothing to help? If legal isn't an option, what about non profit organizations that offer assistance via mitigation tools and services? Regardless, you seem to be handling it well for the time being. My primary concern is getting kicked off cloudflare for some arbitrary bullshit reason.

Looking through archive.today, I can see that this might have all stemmed from Libre.land or LibreLand for short, it was the original source of where the admin of 8channel might've come from, the owner of LibreLand is irrelevant as they're not involved in what happened later, LibreLand got shut down and awhile after the fact two new domains were created, 8channel.net and libreland.xyz, both run by the admin of 8channel, through some weird fuckery libreland.xyz eventually redirected to these two places
http://libreland.xyz
redirected to
https://8channel.net/
https://8chnl.net/
8chnl.net now redirects to 8chan.moe, which is Marks site if I remember correctly, the global volunteers of libreland/libreland.xyz/8channel.net/etc might be able to provide some more insight into what really went down.
