My obsession with zoophilia is entirely separate from my obsession with furry art. While furry does have some pretty hot zoo art the majority of it is more like humans who just happen to be animals than bestiality. If all I had to get off to was furry zoo It would suck as there's such a stigma against it most artists who might have done zoo stick to non-zoo art.
So no-being furry doesn't automatically make you a zoophile. On top of most people in the fandom being a lot more 'normal' than not it's just not what inspired furry to be what it is. It was always about the more human aspects of the characters-which is too bad as furry oc's would be a lot more interesting if they were more than just people with fur.

I hate to make you look bad, but in my opinion, the act isn't necessarily bad. It's just impossible to prove it wasn't after the fact and society has a hateboner for anyone who isn't reproducing or at least forming a family unit that can raise adopted children, and at the same time is full of lonely fucks who use animals as substitute children (leading to a lot of neglected/dangerously untrained animals imho). In practicality it should remain illegal because it is 100% impossible to get caught unless you are a retard or an attention whore.
I will say that if you get turned on more and more as the slider moves towards animal features you should start doing some introspection. It's not normal to want your wolf girls with no tits and a fat cookie. Most furries like dramatic cartoon animal heads on weirdly colored human bodies with some decorative fur tufts.
